After the incisions are closed, the patient is placed in a surgical bra (a bra without an underwire). During the recovery period after breast augmentation one can experience a few days of postoperative fatigue, mild arm/chest soreness and discomfort. These can be greatly eased by the use of post-operative pain medications.
